Lather, Rinse, Repeat

I came into my office this morning and found an article with and interesting title. The title of the article was, "Lather, Rinse, Repeat." I read it and found it to be very inspiring.  I don't who wrote this article and I don't know who left it on my desk, but to both; thank you.  I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

One of the most brilliant marketing ploys in history was the ubiquitous directive found on shampoo bottles: "Lather, Rinse, Repeat."  By simply telling consumers to "repeat", sales of shampoo doubled. The admonition to repeat the application did have some validity at one point. Past generations of Americans tended to apply massive amounts of oily goop to their hair, and it required two rounds to break up the grease. These days, though, it's usually not necessary.
We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers.
1 Thessalonians 1:2
When it comes to prayer and gratitude, however, it's impossible to overdo it. "The goal of prayer," said E.M. Bounds, "is the ear of God, a goal that can only be reached by patient and continued and continuous waiting upon Him, pouring out our heart to Him and permitting Him to speak to us. Only by so doing can we expect to know Him."
The more we pray, the more our prayers will be answered, and our sense of gratitude will increase also. We make it a point to pray - repeatedly - for our family, our neighbors and our nation. Then we prepare for God's blessing to follow with expectation and faith.
So pray and repeat! And watch what God will do.
