I was able to run in the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day. I joined several others from EVC in this annual event. I completed the 10k race in 55:20. This is not a great time but it's not bad considering I had a heart attack 8 months prior. I praise God for continuing to heal me and give me strength. Pam and I plan to run again next year and I hope you will join us! For Christ-followers, there is nothing to fear in life."The LORD is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid? Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident. One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple." (Psalm 27: 1-4)
