Thousands of Muslims coming to Christ

The Lausanne III conference was held last week in Cape Town, South Africa. This is a gathering of Christian leaders from all around the world. The purpose of this gathering is to share what God is doing globally. People share how the kingdom of God is being built from the most remote spots on earth.
Sam Yeghnazar, from Elam Ministries, reported that an unprecedented number of Muslims in the Middle East are coming to Christ! Isn't that good news? According to Yeghnazar, there were only about 500 known Iranian Christians from a Muslim background in 1974. But over the past 30 years, more Muslims have come to Christ than in the past 1300 years.
This is just validation to the power of the Gospel! Romans says it best, "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: The righteous shall live by faith" (Rom. 1:16-17).
We praise God for what He's doing all around the world, especially in the Middle East. Be praying for all of those sharing their Christian faith in Muslim dominated areas.
