Holy Week

Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday is the greatest week in history. The week has been called “Holy Week” because of what Christ accomplished during this week. To prepare ourselves for Easter Sunday, I’m including the Bible references of what happened during this special week. I hope you will take some time to read and meditate on these passages. Let the passion of Christ be your passion. Follow him with you whole heart. As you read these verses be absolutely convinced that God loves you.
Henri J. Nouwen writes about the Passion of Christ: “As we consider the change in the crowds from Palm Sunday's cheers of "Hosanna!" to Good Friday's jeers of "Crucify Him!" we realize that every person must make a choice of which crowd they wish to be a part of. The situation is so polarized that everyone in Jerusalem must make a choice--they must align themselves with Jesus, or against Him. How about you? Will you be His disciple? Or His executioner? Will you follow Him to the death? Or will you lead Him to His death? Will you abandon the world to follow Him? Or will you deny Him in order to maintain your comfort and security?”
